How exactly do you join a clan war if you want to fight?

you select a server and go on it

DONE

1. You issue a challenge
a) Through Savage 2 clans.
b) Unofficially

2. You wait till the match and join.
a) You will be notified that there is a clan war soon to start, with a timer and display between whom.
b) Join the match on the server you agreed to play on.

3. Fight !
a) You win
b) You lose
c) You win with a BD against superior opponents.
